Biography

Hi there, I’m Ryan and I’m 19 years old. I’ve completed my A levels in 2025 and I’ll be joining SMU in 2028 for my university studies. A few fun facts about me - I like debates as it triggers my critical thinking skills and I am a regular coffee drinker.

I have been tutoring Math for close to 2 years. I have always done well in Math in my school years, not just because I enjoy the subject but because I understand the process of tackling math questions. Many tough questions are designed to test students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than just the syllabus. My tutoring style is to help students learn how to breakdown the problems into bits and show them step by step how to solve them. I often use real world examples to relate to the students so that they can find it easier to visualise and gain a deeper understanding.

Overall, I am open and approachable, and I am more than happy to clarify doubts that the students may have. Moreover, if the student has some feedback on my teaching, I am glad to hear from them and look into it closely, and making adjustments to my teaching to improve their learning experience.
