I have over 30 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from Primary 1 to Secondary 4 in English, Mathematics, and Science. Over the years, I have also served as a freelance instructor in various primary schools, conducting lessons in Mathematics, Science, Creative Writing, Speech and Drama, Phonics, Comprehension, and other enrichment subjects. I am a fun‑loving, patient, and understanding educator who strives to cater to each student’s unique learning needs. My dedication has earned me numerous positive feedback from both students and parents.
I am well‑versed in the MOE syllabus and adopt structured, effective methods in my teaching. For English, I guide students through essential grammar rules, helping them understand, memorise, and apply them confidently. I also teach vocabulary and composition techniques such as mind‑mapping to strengthen their writing skills. I have taught students across a wide spectrum—from those with ADHD to high‑performing learners—and I firmly believe that every child can improve with the right guidance.
In Mathematics, I equip students with heuristics and model‑drawing techniques to help them solve problems efficiently while managing their time well. For Science, I emphasise conceptual understanding and fundamentals before guiding students to apply and recall key concepts during examinations.
Currently, while continuing my teaching work, I am pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) with NIE and learning as a school instructor for coding and enrichment programmes.
With my proven track record, I am confident in helping students strengthen their academic foundations and achieve meaningful improvement through my learning programmes.
