I am a final year undergraduate in Life Sciences at NUS, and I have been a private tutor for 3 years since the beginning of my undergraduate studies. I constantly update myself on the changing syllabus and adjust my sessions accordingly. I focus on Mathematics and Science subjects (Biology/Chemistry) as they are related to my field of study. I also enjoy spreading the knowledge I learn in my course to my students to make the lessons more fun and comprehensive.
I take note of student’s progresses and areas of improvements and give them relevant homework that would help strengthen the topics. I adjust lessons according to the pace of students and focus on ensuring students grasp the concept rather than just covering all topics.
