"I thought it's just gonna be a webcam pointing at the instructor physically standing in front of a physical whiteboard. I am pleasantly surprised to see student’s screen is the digital whiteboard itself, with the instructor writing and annotating digitally in real-time solving math equations. Students can zoom in and zoom out to get the best view, and audio is great with earphones. This is much better than classroom learning where most of the time you only see the instructor’s back."

I had expected the lesson process to be very tedious and technical, such as having to register and signup Zoom account, setup and stuff, but it turned out to be totally hassle free. My child only has to click the Join Lesson button at the dashboard and the zoom lesson launches smoothly on his iPad. The process is totally manageble without adult supervision even for primary school children.

Good home tutors are hard to come by, depending on the availability of tutors willing to come to your house. I have tried numerous tutor intro services, you are often pushed with a few options just because only those are available. Those really good tutors are usually tuition centre-based.
